Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) is a therapeutic approach that emphasizes finding solutions in the present time and exploring one’s hope for the future to find quicker resolution of one’s problems (about 1-2 sessions). Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a form of psychotherapy that treats problems by modifying dysfunctional emotions, behaviors, and thoughts through a goal-oriented, systematic process (about 5-8 sessions).
